The Whitemore Initiative Society

The Whitemore Initiative is a Non-profit Organization, who’s goal is to help as many people, who can not afford to, get the needed funding and education to engage in alternative fuel and energy sources, to help combat global warming.

It is our vision to see as many people engaged in alternative fuel sources as possible. We are aware that the costs of available alternatives are very high, and only the well off can afford them.

While 40% of all global wealth is held by 1% of the population, and while Canadians enjoy a higher percentage of High income earners than most countries, few can afford to dole out $8,000.00 MORE for a hybrid Vehicle, or buy wind energy for a household for $6,000.00.

Most people never see a new vehicle, never mind pay more to help the environment, and few have extra thousands to spend on anything.

Through creative fundraising, we plan to raise money to help fund the middle to low income earners get involved in the latest of technology. When these people make up the bulk of the population, it only makes sense that someone helps them.

We are aware that there are government grants and incentives to sell alternative energy to the public, and that it falls short of the low and middle income earners needs; therefore we will assist research and development organizations whose goals are finding more economical earth friendly energy alternatives.
